"I’ve been with StateFarm since 2018. I’m extremely disappointed I’ll be leaving now. Originally quoted and signed for a price. The day it went into effect it was $60 higher on the app than what I signed for. They also added Automatic payments without my authorization. Emailed and called to have issue fixed with little to no response. Very disappointed Edit: As an addition I’d like to add after seeing the reply that I’ve already spoken with the escalations team at State Farm. I had a $0 balance every single month. They confirmed the fee was because Brown Insurance forgot to charge me a down payment and tried to add it afterwards, never communicating that with me directly. Also speaking of the underwriting, my policy in GA was never canceled, leading me to have two active policies in different states although the declaration says it was suppose to replace it. So this “transfer of balance” makes no sense. The bill attached to the account said $375 “policy change fees” which was split between 3 bills. All of this stress when they could have admitted they made a mistake. I will be filing a complaint with DOI"
"Hi Ms Musgrove, I am really sorry to read this response, and I wish things could have worked out differently. Yes, we did give you a quote. However, the reason your bill was $60 higher than what we quoted was due to a previous balance that rolled over from your former Agents office that was not settled before your transfer. We had no way of seeing that information during the quote and bind process. However, underwriting did and added it to the policy we wrote for you which is why your bill was $60 higher than what we quoted you. I would be frustrated and upset as well. I clearly would have liked to have known I was going to have additional cost added to my bill and not have it be a surprise. Again, so sorry this didn't work out for either of us. I can understand if you did not want to come back to my Agency given the circumstances. However, State Farm has a very talented group of Agents that can service your needs, so I trust that you will give one of them a chance. "

"Our family have been State Farm policy holders for at least 40 years, starting with my parents' first agent, Carleton Bloc. My parents passed away 27 years ago, but they encouraged us to stay with Mr. Block when we became property owners.. That is true for my sister, and both of my adult daughters. We all stayed with the very convenient local agent office when it was taken over by current Agent, Rodney Brown, and we are every bit as satisfied as we all were "in the good old days." In fact, Insurance (with its use of technology ) has become increasingly complex, and we all benefit frequently from being able to ask Mr. Brown to help us navigate. He NEVER fails us, AND his staff is very knowledgable and helpful as well. We have been quite satisfied with State Farm over the years. BUT it IS a bureaucracy, and we have required assistance (explanations, translations, encouragement) from Mr. Brown so that we wade through the data collection and provision correctly in order that we benefit from the support this very good company provides at reasonable cost. I don't think you could do better when shopping for a "One Stop" Agent."

"I have been with State Farm for 50 years, I switched over to Rodney Brown's office 15 years ago. He has such a wonderful reputation, I decided to switch. I am so happy that I did. He is very responsive to my calls. As I am getting older he makes sure that my car and home are fully protected. He checks in to make sure that all is going well. He will suggest different policy changes or additions to ensure that I am not paying for something that I don't need or covering something that I do need. He is also a really wonderful person. Without sounding like the commercial, Rodney is truly like a good neighbor. He is there whenever I call. He has a great staff as well. I cannot tell you what that means in todays corporate climate."

"They have the worst renters insurance ever... Adjuster is very rude, they ask same papers or informations over and over. "Why they can't ask everything together"!!!!!! After sending everything they still need the same papers again... It has been 6-7 months they still didn't pay me for my lost!! So finally cancel the insurance and stop contacting them!!"
